The 3 of us went to downtown Davenport to check out all the flooding. There is a lot, and it is bad. Certainly not seeming as bad as several other Iowa towns. When I got home, web said river was at 20.2 and was expected to crest at 21. Today it is up to 21.2 and crest is now 22.5.
Went to Burlington today for Dison's 1st Birthday. We had to take the roads though Illinois since Hwy 61 on the Iowa side, our normal route, is flooded about 1/2 hr north of Burlington, I think that is the Iowa River. Birthday was good, nothing spectacular. We left the shelter at the park just in time for another little storm to come through.
