Finally... an update!

It has been a little while since I have updated. I know today is Easter, but I'll do the Easter post later. We have been pretty busy since my last post. The first part of the month Kirby had his 3rd blood transfusion and another round of steriods. This bit lasted 3 weeks! He just went on another round of steriods this weekend.

In between rounds we've traveled and had fun like we have a "normal" child. The weekend of Mar 7th we went to Clay Center to see the Savener clan. We had fun using the swifter and playing with Dominic & MaKenna. Oh yeah - Kirby left grandpa quite a mess to clean up.

After the short visit, we went to meet see Uncle Joe in Kansas City before he left for Iraq. He has now left, but we had a good visit. Kirby thought the most fun was Jordan's birthday party. I don't know why, but he had ZERO fun swimming.

Still no diagnosis for Kirby. We'll hopefully find out more this week, but things are in the works for a visit to Cincinnati Children's Hospital in April.
