Today is Tuesday the 11th. We are sick of Kirby being sick. Took him to visit Doc Omar today and he said it is a virus, take him back to daycare and tell them to wash hands good! No more staying home from work for Chris and I. Oh yeah - Kirby is now in the 50th percentile for height & weight. He grew 4 inches since his 6 month visit. He is 28 inches high and weighed in at 19 lbs. I honestly think he's lost a pound since being sick.
Kirby started crawling last week, at day care of course. So, to punish him - just kidding. I decided it was time to get Kirby some shoes. He fights us when we put anything on his feet and since it will be winter soon, and he'll be walking, thought it was time he got used to something on his feet. Kirby is not a fan of the shoes. He has problems crawling in them, but in time, he'll either get the hang of them or learn to walk.
Not much else is new in Davenport. I got a different job and am going back to a factory. I will be at the Seeding Group - same place as Chris. No, we will not carpool - unless we need to, but I plan to go in early so I can pick Kirby up from daycare. My desk will be out in the factory, and Chris is located in the main office, so we won't be sitting near one another, but it will be different for us working at the same location. No travel in this job for me, I'll learn a new purchasing system, and I'll get back into the logistics area. Plus, there is a chance my old job will be eliminated. It should be a good change.
