Vacation

We made it back from our week at the lake. Everyone had a good time. I think Chris and I realized vacation just isn't what it used to be with a 7 month old! It is work away from work.

We didn't do a whole lot. Sunday we went to Delta, OH to visit my family and go to the infamous Chicken Festival Parade. Kirby enjoyed watching the bands go by. After that we made a couple of outings during the week to get out when the rain came.

Now we are back to work and daycare, and the dog is out of jail. It has been a pretty challenging week for Kirby. I guess it is an adjustment when you've been away from daycare for a week. Poor guy only slept a total of 90 minutes in 3 naps the first day. The dog on the other hand was only awake for 90 minutes the first 3 days back from the kennel. Chris left Tuesday for Cincinnati, and will be home tonight?? Then back to Cinci for 4 more weeks. When he returns he'll be starting his new job at our Seeding Division where they make Seeders/Planters.
