Today is Friday the 13th. Mom wanted to send a quick note to say hi before we leave on vacation tomorrow morning. I don't think she has started packing anything. Grandma Mary came to hang out with me today and she told my mom that she better get on the stick. And now, she on the computer!
Mom and dad (mostly dad) were busy covering the ugly utility box in the front yard a couple weekends ago. Must have looked bad because most of the neighbors said it looks nice now. I watched. Not much else in Iowa just looking forward to spending a week without my mom and dad having to go to work.

P.S. Oh yeah - Almost forgot. Dad went to a tractor pull and got 2 first places and 1 third. The amazing part was there were more than two pullers. There were actually 6!! GO BUCKS!
